Janelle Kwan

Janelle Kwan is an expert in strategic workforce strategy and enterprise strategic planning. Her recent thought leadership includes reimagining tomorrow’s workforce and using data storytelling to drive organizational change. She loves tackling complex problems and breaking them down into tangible, actionable strategies for health systems.

Leveraging her earlier career as a classroom teacher, Janelle balances education, expertise and facilitation with ease and enthusiasm. She leads Sg2’s popular strategic planning course and is a frequent speaker at Sg2, Vizient, and member meetings and conferences.

She started her career at Sg2 on the Oncology team where she distilled the larger trends and market forces shaping the service line for both executives and service line leaders. She then led Sg2’s Custom Intelligence services, ensuring the delivery of relevant, thought-provoking responses to the 2,000+ on-demand strategy questions members submit annually. Janelle also oversaw the development of Sg2’s annual FAQ Compendium, which consistently ranked among our most popular offerings.

Prior to Sg2, Janelle worked as a middle school English teacher and as a talent recruiter for a network of public charter schools in Brooklyn, NY. She holds a BS from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business.
